Lord Commander Baelfire McKinnon, also known simply as Bael, is an Elemental who lives in the Wintervale. Baelfire was the Lord Commander of the Dragon Riders and later their Commander after the military order was observed as a faction of the Watchmen. After both organizations were disbanded, Bael held onto the title of Lord Commander of the Dragon Riders and secretly kept the organization together since an extremist faction of the Watchmen was growing around them.
